Conservation efforts on the Muria Slopes began in 2006, followed by Patiayam Hills in 2020. These initiatives involve collaboration with local communities, farmers, and stakeholders to preserve and sustain the ecosystems in both areas.

Since 2008, the Djarum Foundation’s Environmental Program has planted trees along the coast. Mangrove restoration projects have been conducted together with farmers and volunteers along the northern coast of Central Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and Bali.

In an effort to preserve certain plants from extinction, the Djarum Foundation Environmental Program has established a Plant Nursery Center in Kudus, Central Java. The nursery cultivates and propagates a variety of conservation plants, including both fruit-bearing and non-fruit species such as Trembesi, Walnut, Mahogany, Tamarind, and Randualas.

As a digital-based movement initiated by the Djarum Foundation Environmental Program over social media, this initiative targets the younger generation in Indonesia, particularly university students from various institutions.

The goal is to raise awareness among young people regarding the impact of climate change and encourage them to take environmental action. This includes activities such as Candi Sadar Lingkungan (Candi Darling), Kampus Sadar Lingkungan (Kampus Darling), One Action

The movement was initiated by Djarum Foundation’s Environmental Program to transform Kudus into a clean and orderly city. This initiative focuses on educating residents about effective waste management, including sorting and depositing waste at waste banks.

Kudus Asik has also facilitated the processing of 15,000 tons of organic waste, enhancing Kudus City’s livability for residents.
