Since 2010, Djarum Trees For Life has consistently implemented the Trembesi Planting Program across Indonesia to mitigate climate change by absorbing carbon emissions along various transportation routes.

Trees have been planted all the way from the Merak northern coast of Java Island (Pantura) all the way to Banyuwangi, Madura Island, Joglosemar, and the Trans Java and Trans Sumatra toll roads, potentially absorbing 28.5 tons of CO2 per tree per year*.

Djarum Trees For Life also cares for the trees for up to three years, including planting, fertilizing, watering, weeding, and ensuring the trees grow to maturity.
