The community recognizes Tambora Subdistrict in West Jakarta as an area that is often affected by fire disasters. Because of the frequent occurrence of fires, residents call it the Fire Gathering. Every year in the area there are about 60 fires. The highest in Indonesia for one sub-district. To prevent and reduce the number of fires in the area, the Djarum Foundation's Social Service established a Fire Prevention Task Force by conducting theoretical and practical training. Currently, 3,000 residents in 31 RW in 11 Kelurahan Tambora Subdistrict have become members of the Task Force. As a result, from 2012 to 2016 the number of fires per year in Tambora continued to decline to 22 fires.
